For the limits of MARA's services and its role in relation to professional advice and personal decisions, please read the MARA Terms of Use.

MARA is operated by To be confirmed, referred to in this policy as “MARA,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

• Visit the MARA website;

• Use demo mode;

• Complete the Mini RISE Assessment;

• Create or use a MARA account;

• Use plans, check-ins, tools, notes, document or incident organization, or the Evidence Center;

• Interact with our emails or other services that link to this policy.

This policy does not govern third-party websites or services that MARA does not control.

3. Information we collect

A. Information you provide

Depending on the feature, you may provide:

• Account information, such as an email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, display name, and account preferences;

• Assessment information, such as answers about financial stability, parenting context, communication, housing or property concerns, emotional wellness, rebuilding, preferred pace, and desired support;

• Broad results and preferences, such as a RISE stage, functional priority, recommended path, chosen pace, and selected next steps;

• Saved content, such as plans, check-ins, reflections, notes, timelines, expense or payment records, incident records, and uploaded or organized information;

• Optional financial-organizing information, such as user-entered account categories, obligations, expenses, payment events, or document references;

• Communications, such as questions, feedback, customer-support messages, and privacy requests;

• Subscription information, such as plan selection and billing status; and

• Marketing preferences, when you separately choose to receive promotional communications.

MARA does not ask for or need your Social Security number, full bank credentials, online-banking password, partner’s password, legal case password, or children’s full names to provide the core assessment experience. Do not enter information that is unnecessary for the feature you are using.

B. Information collected automatically

We may collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as:

• Device and browser type;

• Operating system;

• Approximate location derived from an IP address;

• Pages or features used;

• Dates, times, and referral information;

• Error, performance, and security logs; and

• Cookie or similar-technology identifiers.

To be confirmed

MARA must not send detailed assessment answers, safety-routing selections, private notes, incident narratives, financial entries, or evidence-center content to advertising pixels, session-replay tools, heatmaps, or ordinary product analytics.

C. Information from service providers

We may receive limited information from vendors that support authentication, hosting, database services, payments, email delivery, security, analytics, or customer support. This may include confirmation that an email was delivered, a payment succeeded, or an account authentication event occurred.

D. Co-Parenting information

If you are signed in, you can privately save information through four Co-Parenting tools: the Parenting Routine Organizer, the Schedule & Transportation Planner, the Child-Related Expense Tracker, and Shared Information & Decisions.

Depending on what you choose to enter, this may include routines, categories, frequency, timing, transportation information, who handles a responsibility, status, notes, dates, child-related expense amounts, decision topics, what is known, matters needing clarification, next steps, and target dates.

MARA does not create profiles of children. The tools ask you not to enter children’s names, birthdates, diagnoses, school IDs, addresses, case numbers, or similar identifying or sensitive details.

Child-related expenses. You may choose to record child-related expense amounts with a category and status. MARA stores the amounts you enter. MARA does not determine who owes an expense, calculate child support, make reimbursement decisions, decide whether an amount is legally owed, or mark expenses overdue.

Private to your account. Co-Parenting entries are private to your account. MARA does not provide them to the other parent or co-parent. There is currently no second-parent access, shared account, invitation system, calendar synchronization, messaging to another parent, or automatic sharing of Co-Parenting information.

AI and analytics. Information you enter into the Co-Parenting tools is not sent to AI systems for analysis or generation and is not sent to analytics systems.

E. Housing & Property information

If you are signed in, you can privately save information through four Housing & Property tools: My Housing Snapshot, the Property & Document Organizer, the Housing Options Planner, and the Housing Action & Decision Tracker.

Depending on what you choose to enter, this may include your general housing situation, your ownership or lease situation, housing circumstances and unresolved issues, whether you have or can locate certain property and housing records, a general category for where a record is kept, optional notes and next steps, housing options you are considering, factors that matter to you, questions or information you still need, professionals or resources you may contact, housing actions and decisions with their categories, types, optional target dates and status, general information about what you are waiting on, and optional notes.

Limited information by design. The Housing tools are designed to help you organize without highly sensitive identifying details. The tools ask you not to enter full home addresses, passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers, legal case numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive identifying information. The Property & Document Organizer tracks only whether you have or can locate a record. MARA does not ask you to upload, and does not store copies of, deeds, mortgage statements, leases, insurance policies, or other housing documents.

Financial Protection total. Housing may display a read-only monthly housing-cost total calculated from housing costs you have already entered in your Financial Protection Financial Snapshot. This total is read from Financial Protection when shown. It is not copied into or separately stored by Housing, and it is not part of the Housing export. It does not identify individual mortgage, rent, HOA, or property-tax entries, and it does not include insurance or utilities.

Option estimates you enter. In the Housing Options Planner, you may choose to enter an estimated monthly housing cost for an option you are considering. This estimate is supplied by you. MARA does not calculate or verify it, does not determine affordability, and does not rank, score, or recommend housing options. These estimates are not financial advice or financial projections.

No legal or property determinations. Housing & Property does not determine legal ownership, property division, equity entitlement, rights to remain in or leave a property, whether another person must refinance, mortgage qualification, or which housing option you should choose.

Private to your account. Housing & Property entries are private to your account. They are not automatically shared with another parent, a spouse or former spouse, attorneys, lenders, realtors, landlords, or other professionals. Naming a professional role in a Housing tool does not send any information to that professional.

AI and analytics. Information you enter into the Housing & Property tools is not sent to AI systems for analysis or generation and is not sent to analytics systems.

F. Emotional Wellness information

If you are signed in, Emotional Wellness offers four tools: Ground & Reset, Emotional Check-In, What Helps Me, and Rebuilding My Rhythm.

Ground & Reset saves nothing. Ground & Reset is a set of short, self-guided steps. It has no typed input. MARA does not store, track, or time which reset you choose, which steps you view, whether you finish, or how often you use it. Choosing "I need more support" opens existing support resources and does not record anything.

Emotional Check-In is saved only if you choose. You can complete a check-in without saving it; your answers stay on screen and are cleared when you leave. A check-in is stored only when you choose "Save this check-in." A saved check-in contains the feelings you selected, what felt heaviest, what would help, an optional short note, and the date. Saved check-ins appear as a plain list, newest first.

No interpretation or monitoring. MARA does not score, chart, diagnose, or interpret your check-ins, does not identify trends or patterns, does not make predictions, and does not treat ordinary answers as a crisis. Emotional Wellness is not therapy, medical care, or a mental-health assessment.

Practices and rhythms. What Helps Me stores the practices you choose to save, such as walking, music, or prayer, along with optional notes, when they tend to help, and a status. Faith-related practices appear only as optional choices you select yourself. Rebuilding My Rhythm stores small routines you add, how often and when they fit, and a status. MARA does not track whether you did them and does not show streaks, scores, or "missed" labels. The tools ask you to keep notes general and to use roles rather than names.

Private to your account. Emotional Wellness entries are private to your account and are not shared with anyone.

AI, analytics, and notifications. Information you enter into the Emotional Wellness tools is not sent to AI systems for analysis or generation, is not sent to analytics systems, and is not used for notifications.

G. Building Your Next Chapter information

If you are signed in, Building Your Next Chapter offers four tools: Next Chapter Areas, Carry Forward / Set Down, Small Steps, and My Monthly Intention.

Depending on what you choose to enter, this may include the life areas you choose to shape (from a fixed list, such as Home & Living, Work & Financial Direction, or Faith & Spirituality), an optional sentence about what you would like more of, short items you want to carry forward or set down, small steps with optional timing words and a status, a monthly intention, optional notes, and an optional link from an item to an area.

Direction, not interpretation. MARA does not score, rank, analyze, or interpret what you write, does not make suggestions based on it, and does not track progress, streaks, deadlines, or reminders. Building Your Next Chapter is not therapy or coaching. Faith & Spirituality is one optional area you may choose; MARA does not add faith content by default.

Limited information by design. The tools ask you to keep financial amounts, housing decisions, legal matters, co-parenting details, and messages with a former partner in the MARA module built for them. Building Your Next Chapter links to those modules but does not copy information from them.

Private to your account. Building Your Next Chapter entries are private to your account and are not shared with anyone.

AI, analytics, and notifications. Information you enter into Building Your Next Chapter is not sent to AI systems for analysis or generation, is not sent to analytics systems, and is not used for notifications.

H. Legal Preparation information

If you are signed in, Legal Preparation offers four tools: What I Know / What's Unclear, My Documents & Records, My Legal Questions, and Appointments & Follow-Ups. MARA stores the short notes, checklist entries, questions, and follow-ups you choose to save, along with the statuses and options you select.

No documents are uploaded. My Documents & Records is a checklist. It records whether you have a document or record, whether you need to find, request, or check it, and, for some categories, a general note about where it is kept. MARA does not store copies of documents and does not read, analyze, or interpret them. The checklist is not a list of required documents.

Limited information by design. The tools ask you not to enter names, case numbers, account numbers, passwords, amounts or values, or details that identify your children. Detailed financial, housing, co-parenting, and communication records stay in the MARA module built for them; Legal Preparation links to those modules but does not copy information from them.

Dates are reference only. Dates you enter in Appointments & Follow-Ups are stored exactly as you entered them. MARA does not check, calculate, or compare dates, does not change statuses based on dates, and does not send reminders or notifications.

No legal advice. MARA does not answer your questions, interpret documents or law, predict outcomes, or recommend legal strategy. Using MARA does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Private to your account. Legal Preparation entries are private to your account. They are not shared with attorneys, courts, a spouse or former spouse, or anyone else. Information you enter is not sent to AI systems for analysis or generation, is not sent to analytics systems, and is not used for notifications.

I. After the Divorce information

If you are signed in, After the Divorce lets you keep a list of actions you already know need to happen (My Agreement Actions) and mark common areas you have chosen to review (Things to Review). MARA stores the short action titles, areas, statuses, "who is responsible" and "waiting on" choices, short notes, the source you select, and any date you enter. Suggested review items are part of the app; MARA saves a record for an item only when you choose a status or add a note.

No documents or sensitive identifiers. You cannot upload your agreement or other documents, and MARA does not store document text. The feature asks you not to enter names, case numbers, account numbers, passwords, balances or values, or details that identify your children. Detailed financial, housing, co-parenting, legal, and next-chapter information stays in the module built for it; After the Divorce links to those modules but does not copy information from them.

Not legal requirements. The suggested items are common areas to review, not instructions or a list of legal requirements. Dates are stored exactly as you entered them; MARA does not determine whether a date is a legal deadline, does not compare dates with today, and does not send reminders or notifications.

Private to your account. After the Divorce entries are private to your account and are not shared with a former spouse, attorney, court, agency, or anyone else. They are not sent to AI systems for analysis or generation, are not sent to analytics systems, and are not used for notifications.

4. Anonymous assessment and demo mode

Anonymous Mini RISE Assessment

You may complete the public Mini RISE Assessment without creating an account.

• Sensitive conditional answers and safety-routing flags remain in temporary session memory only.

• They are not intentionally stored in the MARA database.

• They are not sent to advertising tools, session replay, heatmaps, ordinary analytics, email tools, URLs, browser history, notifications, or logs.

• Safety or urgency information is used only to display appropriate support during that session.

• Detailed safety-answer history is not retained by default.

• The core result is shown before MARA asks for an email address, account, or payment.

If you choose to save your result to an account, MARA stores only the minimum broad result needed to provide your selected path, unless you separately and knowingly choose to save additional information.

Demo mode

Demo mode uses sample information and device-local storage. It does not require an account and does not read or write another person’s MARA records. Clearing browser storage or exiting demo mode may remove demo activity from the device.

Co-Parenting, Housing & Property, Emotional Wellness, Building Your Next Chapter, Legal Preparation, and After the Divorce demo entries are sample data, are clearly labeled “Sample:”, remain on your device, and are not written to the account database.

5. Sensitive and consumer health information

Some MARA information may reveal or allow inferences about emotional wellness, stress, relationship abuse, coercive control, safety, healthcare-related needs, or other sensitive circumstances. We treat this information as sensitive even when a particular law does not classify it as protected health information.

MARA is not a healthcare provider and is not generally subject to HIPAA merely because a user enters health-related information. Other federal or state consumer-health-data and breach-notification laws may apply.

7. When we disclose information

We may disclose information:

• To service providers supporting hosting, databases, authentication, payments, email delivery, security, or customer support;

• At your direction or with your consent;

MARA will honor legally required opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable.

10. Retention

MARA retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements.

Proposed launch schedule—confirm before publication:

Cancellation of a paid membership does not automatically delete an account or saved information. Account deletion is a separate action.

11. Security

MARA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including account authentication, access controls, row-level database security, encrypted transmission, vendor controls, testing, and incident-response procedures.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password and protecting access to your email and device. If changing a password, device setting, or shared account could increase danger, consider contacting a confidential advocate from a safer device first.

• Know or access information collected about you;

• Correct inaccurate information;

• Delete information;

• Obtain a portable copy;

• Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;

• Limit certain uses of sensitive information;

• Withdraw consent;
