1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MARA’s website, demo, assessments, applications, subscriptions, downloadable resources, and related services (collectively, “MARA”).

MARA is operated by To be confirmed (“MARA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using MARA, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the MARA Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MARA.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. MARA is designed for users in the United States unless we state otherwise.

3. What MARA provides

MARA provides general educational information, organizational, self-reflection, and planning tools, and practical support related to separation, divorce, co-parenting, communication, financial organization, documentation, emotional wellness, and rebuilding. MARA may help you organize information, identify questions to consider, understand general options and resources, and prepare for conversations with qualified professionals. You remain the decision-maker about your life and circumstances.

MARA may provide:

• Mini RISE and other self-guided assessments;

• Educational modules and personalized organizational paths;

• Checklists, worksheets, communication examples, and downloadable resources;

• Plans, reminders, check-ins, reflections, notes, and timelines;

• Financial and incident-organization tools;

• A Evidence Center; and

• Optional paid memberships and digital products.

Features may change as the service develops.

4. Important professional and safety limitations

MARA does not provide legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, credit-repair, medical, mental-health, therapeutic, custody, housing, insurance, or emergency advice. MARA is not a lawyer or law firm; therapist, counselor, psychologist, or healthcare provider; financial adviser or planner; accountant or tax professional; mediator; crisis service; emergency responder; or a decision-maker for you.

Use of MARA does not create an attorney-client, therapist-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, financial-adviser, mediator, or other professional relationship.

MARA does not:

• Recommend or decide whether you should remain in a relationship, reconcile, separate, end a relationship, or file for divorce. Those are personal decisions for you, with qualified professional or other support when appropriate;

• Diagnose or label a spouse, partner, former partner, co-parent, or family member as a narcissist, abuser, mentally ill, disordered, or as having any clinical, mental-health, or personality diagnosis. MARA may provide general educational information about behaviors or patterns without diagnosing a person;

• Determine whether abuse, danger, coercive control, parental fitness, custody risk, or a mental-health condition exists;

• Interpret laws, court orders, judgments, agreements, or legal documents; determine legal rights or obligations; recommend legal strategy; calculate or check legal deadlines; or tell you whether to file, sign, accept, or reject a legal document or settlement;

• Provide individualized investment, financial, or tax advice, or determine affordability or entitlement;

• Predict or promise a legal, financial, custody, safety, or recovery outcome;

• Access bank accounts or store online-banking passwords;

• Contact another person, attorney, court, employer, school, agency, or emergency service on your behalf;

• Automatically send a user-drafted message; or

• Monitor accounts, messages, emergencies, or user content in real time.

Use appropriately qualified professionals and official sources for advice about your circumstances and major legal, clinical, financial, tax, or safety decisions.

5. Emergencies and safety

MARA is not an emergency service. Content you enter may not be reviewed by a person and must not be used to request urgent help.

If you are in immediate or life-threatening danger in the United States, call 911 when safe to do so. For confidential domestic-violence support, call 800-799-SAFE (7233), text START to 88788, or visit thehotline.org. For emotional distress or a suicide crisis, call or text 988.

Ordinary communication, password, boundary, documentation, relocation, financial, or household suggestions may not be safe or appropriate in every situation. Personalized safety and professional guidance take priority.

6. Assessments and recommendations

MARA assessments are self-guided educational and organizational experiences. Results are not diagnoses, professional evaluations, evidence of legal status, or determinations of safety, abuse, custody, financial fitness, or recovery.

RISE stages and functional priorities reflect answers provided at a particular time. Progress may be nonlinear. Safety and urgency routing is separate from scoring and may change only the prominence and order of support information.

Recommendations, paths, priorities, and next steps inside MARA are organizational and educational suggestions for using MARA. They are not professional advice and are not instructions to make a major relationship, legal, medical, financial, tax, custody, housing, or safety decision. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use them and for seeking appropriately qualified guidance when needed.

7. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information;

• Maintain a strong, confidential password;

• Protect access to your email and device;

• Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access; and

• Accept responsibility for activity under your account, except where law provides otherwise.

Do not share an account with another person or attempt to access another user’s information.

8. Demo mode

Demo mode provides sample data for evaluation. It is separate from an authenticated account, uses device-local sample information, and is not intended for storing real or sensitive information. Demo content may be reset or removed without notice.

9. Acceptable use

You may use MARA only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:

• Access, test, probe, or interfere with another person’s account or MARA’s security;

• Upload malware or harmful code;

• Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit MARA except as permitted by law;

• Use MARA to harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, surveil, or harm another person;

• Enter information obtained through unauthorized access;

• Use MARA to fabricate, alter, conceal, or destroy evidence or records;

• Misrepresent MARA output as professional advice or an official record;

• Use automated tools to overload or disrupt the service; or

• Violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of information and content you lawfully submit to MARA (“User Content”). You grant MARA a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the service, comply with law, and carry out actions you request.

You represent that you have the right to submit User Content and that doing so does not violate law or another person’s rights. Avoid entering unnecessary information about children, partners, former partners, or third parties.

MARA does not claim ownership of your private content and will not publicly display it without your authorization.

11. Evidence Center and documentation tools

MARA’s documentation features help organize user-provided information. They do not authenticate evidence, establish truth, preserve legal admissibility, create chain of custody, replace official records, or guarantee usefulness in court or another proceeding.

Do not alter originals or use MARA to obtain information you are not legally authorized to access. Ask a qualified attorney how to collect, preserve, disclose, or use information in your circumstances.

12. Communication examples

Templates and examples are educational starting points. MARA does not send them automatically. You are responsible for reviewing tone, facts, recipients, deadlines, safety, agreements, court orders, and legal implications before sending any communication.

13. Paid plans, pricing, and billing

MARA may offer monthly, 90-day, annual, bundled, or one-time products. The price, billing interval, included features, renewal amount, and next billing date will be shown before purchase. The checkout disclosure controls if it conflicts with general marketing copy.

Automatic renewal

Recurring memberships automatically renew at the selected interval until canceled. By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorize the payment processor to charge the disclosed amount and applicable taxes at each renewal.

MARA will provide advance renewal reminders for 90-day and annual plans where required or promised.

Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring membership through account settings without calling or emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless law or the checkout disclosure states otherwise, access continues through the end of the paid billing period. MARA will display the access-end date after cancellation.

Canceling a membership does not automatically delete your account or saved content. Account deletion is a separate action described in the Privacy Policy.

Refunds

To be confirmed

Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Price or plan changes

We may change future prices or plan features with legally required notice. A change will not retroactively alter an already-paid period.

14. Free resources and digital products

Free and paid downloads are licensed for your personal, noncommercial use. You may print or save them for yourself but may not sell, publish, sublicense, distribute, or remove MARA branding without written permission.

Safety and crisis resources are available without requiring an account, email address, or payment.

15. Intellectual property

MARA and its software, branding, design, text, frameworks, assessments, graphics, and original resources are owned by MARA or its licensors and protected by applicable law. Except for the limited personal-use rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred to you.

16. Third-party services and links

MARA may link to or integrate with third-party services. We do not control their availability, content, privacy, security, or terms. Review their policies before using them.

17. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, improve MARA, or address operational needs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Where practicable, we will provide notice of material changes affecting paid features.

18. Account suspension or termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, material violation of these Terms, nonpayment, or harm to MARA or others. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to export or delete eligible content.

You may stop using MARA at any time and request account deletion under the Privacy Policy.

19. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” MARA DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MARA WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR LEGAL, FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, SAFETY, PARENTING, OR PERSONAL OUTCOME.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

20. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARA AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM USE OF MARA.

To be confirmed

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify MARA from third-party claims arising from your unlawful misuse of MARA, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. This section does not apply where prohibited by law.

22. Governing law and disputes

To be confirmed

Nothing in this section limits rights under applicable consumer-protection law.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when legally required or when a material change affects an existing paid service. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required.
